Sir Hugh Orde, President of the Association of Chief Police Officers, today gave evidence to the Scottish Parliament's Justice Committee on the Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Bill at Stage 1.
The Police and Fire Reform (Scotland) Bill was introduced to the Scottish Parliament on 17 January 2012.
The purpose of the Bill is to create a single police service and a single fire and rescue service.
