Members of the Rural Affairs, Climate Change and Environment Committee will visit Central Scotland on Monday 11 June and Tuesday 12 June.
On Monday, the Committee will learn first-hand about the importance of peatland by visiting Flanders Moss (pictured), one of Scotland’s National Nature Reserves.
The Committee will also hear about the Scotland Rural Development Programme and how land management issues are tackled in Loch Lomond’s National Park. The Committee will also plans to see Callander Black Grouse Project and Loch Lubnaig to look at visitor-management issues and development in the countryside.
On Tuesday, the Committee will visit Glenkilrie farm, a Climate Change Focus Farm project, and Heather Hills Bee Farm.
