The Presiding Officer, Rt Hon Tricia Marwick MSP, is undertaking a programme of meetings at the Irish Parliament, the Oireachtas on Wednesday and Thursday.
Her programme includes courtesy calls with the Speakers of both houses of the Oireachtas, Ceann Comhairle, Sean Barrett TD, and the Cathaoirleach, Senator Paddy Burke.
Discussions have included the effective roles of committees, parliamentary reform and the delivery of Parliamentary services within the context of long-term financial constraints.
