Committee seeks views on Forth Road Bridge Bill

20.12.2012

The Infrastructure and Capital Investment Committee is today inviting interested individuals and organisations to contact it with their views on the Forth Road Bridge Bill.

Although a very short Bill, the principal objective is to pave the way for establishing the most “cost effective and co-ordinated” regime for the management and maintenance of the Forth Road Bridge and the new replacement crossing.

It seeks to achieve this by transferring the responsibility to Scottish Ministers.

Before making a submission, please read the Parliament’s Policy on treatment of written evidence by subject and mandatory committees.

To allow the Committee to take account of your views, submissions should be received by midday on Friday 1 February 2013.

Written submissions should be submitted electronically (preferably in Microsoft Word format) to: ici.committee@scottish.parliament.uk

If you have any questions regarding the Committee’s scrutiny of the Bill then please contact the Committee clerking team at the e-mail address above or on 0131 348 5229.
