Deputy Presiding Officer to host ‘Research, innovation and skills: 100 years of food and drink in Scotland’ event

The Deputy Presiding Officer, John Scott MSP will host an event this evening in the Scottish Parliament to mark the joint centenary of the Scottish Food and Drink Federation and the University of Aberdeen Rowett Institute of Nutrition and Health. The event will showcase the journeys of Scottish food and drink manufacturing companies’ between 1913 and 2013 and highlight where research has greatly benefited the food industry.
