Background Info

I lost my 13 year old son very suddenly in 2017 due to a rare, previously undiagnosed brain condition. The shock hit young relatives and friends very hard.

I believe that if children are taught about bereavement and death in schools, then it might be ever so slightly easier for them to understand and accept. After all, death is a part of life and everyone will experience it at some point. If our children are properly educated about death and bereavement, then it will hopefully make it a little easier for them to understand and deal with.
